Grilled cheese sandwich with Provolone Valpadana DOP Dolce and herb butter

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of rustic bread
  • 100 g Sweet Provolone
  • 50 g soft butter
  • aromatic herbs: chives, basil, thyme, marjoram
  • peppercorns to taste

Preparation:

Finely chop the herbs together with the pepper and transfer them to a bowl together with the soft butter. Mix well until the mixture is smooth. Cut the Provolone Dolce into slices and set aside. Butter the slices of bread on both sides and brown them in a pan. Place the slices of Provolone Dolce on a slice of bread and then close with the other slice. Brown and then serve immediately.
