Description of the operation
INDIVIDUAL application submitted by the Consorzio Tutela Provolone Valpadana for the promotion of PROVOLONE VALPADANA DOP cheese through the implementation of information and promotion actions in Veneto and outside Veneto (in particular Lombardy). The activities foreseen include participation in fairs, such as “Caseus Veneti”, and other events, the production of promotional material to be used to support the planned activities, the implementation of promotional campaigns. The activities will be aimed at consumers and operators in the sector.
Purpose
Through the implementation of the project, the Consorzio Tutela Provolone Valpadana will highlight the high quality characteristics of Provolone Valpadana DOP cheese and will highlight the close connection between this excellent cheese and the territory in which it is produced. The identified targets will also be informed about the rigorous production standards of the product, the quality indications, labeling and marketing, standards that guarantee consumers certified quality and traceability of the product.
Results obtained
Participation in local, national and international fairs, events and demonstrations with both a general public of citizens and consumers, and a professional audience with buyers and journalists in the sector, which have allowed the dissemination of scientific and technical knowledge on the products of quality regimes; participation in radio and television broadcasts, specials, advertorials and weeklies specific to the sector; creation of informative material coordinated by the project and other specific for each individual Consortium; purchase of promotional spaces in magazines, newspapers and other traditional and/or innovative information vehicles such as social networks; promotion of products at the Catullo airport in Verona and various points of sale of the GDO and Horeca.
