Tortilla de Patatas with spicy Provolone Valpadana DOP and smoked bacon

Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 100 gr Provolone Valpadana DOP spicy
  • 100g smoked bacon
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 200 gr water

How to prepare Tortilla de Patatas with spicy Provolone Valpadana DOP and smoked bacon

In a pan, brown the bacon pieces without seasoning. Add the potatoes cut into cubes. Cook gently for about twenty minutes, adding 200 gr of water until the potatoes are cooked through.

Pour everything into a bowl and add the eggs and the spicy Provolone Valpadana DOP cut into cubes. Salt, mix and transfer the mixture into a pan greased with oil.

Cook the tortilla over low heat with the lid on for about 10 minutes, then turn it over (using a flat plate) and continue cooking on the other side.

Serve hot.
